The face of Paddington has changed beyond recognition since 1998 when Paddington Waterside Partnership was launched.  More than 1.4 million sq ft of commercial space has already been delivered, bringing more than 35 new companies and 8,000 employees to Paddington. A further 2.2 million sq ft is in the pipeline. More than 900 residential units have been completed, including more than 130 affordable homes, with a further 1400 in the pipeline. Paddington Waterside is set to see more than 30,000 people working here.  Investment to date tops £2 billion.

 

The overall development area was designated the Paddington Special Policy Area by Westminster City Council, with the Partnership acting as a means to bring together different developers and drive the creation of London's newest commercial, residential, leisure, retail and health quarter.
